UK Opera

Looking for some help.

Would love to take the wife to see an Opera but have no idea where they are in the UK.

Marriage of Figgaro


Or is it better to have a long weekend out in Rome see the city in the day then have the real thing in the evening. (Again would need some pointers as where to look)

I know google is supposedly your friend but I'm not having much luck.

This is a well respected company:

Welsh National Opera

They tour the country and do all the well known works.

If you want to travel to Italy to watch one, I'd suggest the Verona Colosseum as it's a fantastic venue and holds regular operas:
