What Hyundai did i see this morning????

Ridiculous question I know.

I am normally so good with identifying cars but the one I saw this morning has me completely stumped.

I have even searched Google but cannot I.D it.

It was a newish Hyundai full size 4x4 and reminded me of the late 90's ford explorer 4.0 that was sold here (UK).

I have no idea of its age as it was wearing German plates.

Any idea as I am not going to rest easy until I know what it is

How about a Galloper (looks to be a badge engineered Shogun)



or a Terracan

It looked more like the second photo but the head lights are all wrong.

Ok I lied.

I have just looked up a Terracan and found a photo of it in the same two tone black/grey as the one I saw and I would say that is it.

It had a different grille which threw me initially.

cheers for the ID. Obviously as common as hens teeth seeing as I have never even heard of it before let alone had the pleasure of seeing one!

EVO magazine ran a Terracan as a Long Term Test car (for towing duties mainly) and praised it as a no nonsense work horse.

I can't recall seeing one In Real Life though.

Well this thing pulled out in front of me (I let it at a crossroads we where both waiting at) and it bloody shifted for a big oil burner. I was rather impressed to be honest.

No Definately not the Santa fe.

The new one is a MASSIVE improvement over the old version.
