Is it possible to obtain replacement heated seat elements for a '99 450? Mine have apparently burnt out....

Without knowing a single thing about the subject, common sense says if you have the means to strip the seats down, then almost any car's heater elements will suit, so long as you keep to the power rating of the TVR ones and they physically fit. I did enquire about replacing them on a Saab I owned, but was told that they were fitted into the seat padding itself, so it was not a practical option. Do love a set of bum warmers, I must say. Miss them in the TVR. The ones in my Audi have six settings, from mildly warm to ball melting.yikes

indeed. there's a good selection of retrofit seat heaters....
knowing TVR, I wouldn't be surprised if there was something non-standard about them - like not running on 12V.

They are Range Rover elements.

If the elements don't break they will happily burn the back of your fuse board out, if not the whole circuit.

So, Jonathan, have you checked the fuse?
