Can I use my Race National A licence for sprints and hillclimbs or do I need to apply, and pay, for a non-race licence as well? I can't find any reference in the Blue Book to this. My licence from the end of this year says "Race National A" and "Non-Race National B" as I started the year with just the non-race licence and added the race licence later in the year.

You can use your race license.
It is in the Blue book.

I thought it should be but couldn't find it when I spent over an hour looking. Any idea whereabouts in the book it is?

I know a Race licence is valid, because I've used mine in Hill Climb.

S.7.1.5 says that a Race National (A) is equivalent to a Speed National (A)(Open) licence.
And H.16.1.1 copies that while H.16.1.2 says that "all other applicants can apply for a Non-Race National B".
But I think you have answerd your own Q in the details on your current licence.
Ask for both to be retained for next year?
Check with the Secretary of the first meeting you want to compete at?

O/T but thought I'd mention it as many people don't know.
The Blue Book is available online
