Just wondered if the current L322 will start to depreciate when people take deliveries of their new shape RRs?

Fancying the 5 litre Supercharged but can't stretch to the £108k the LR configurator tells me I'd need to spend on a new one.

Is it worth waiting until mid next year or just buy one now? Thinking 2009/10 L322

Thanks

you are obviously going to get 'polar opposite' opinions on this

there are some superb offers on the 'last' L322's - and offering trade in's on 'old' L322's that are thousands above 'book price'?

obviously want to move the last of the L322's to make way for the L405? - and the trade in's will go to auction? - who knows

hope there will be bargains on L322 parts especially interiors etc as could do with drivers seat base but not paying circa £300

i'd suggest you contact dealers?

not being funny but the offers i have been made are by 'individual letters' - not a standard mailing shot!

Don't worry, if your local dealer has cars he'll give you a fantastic deal on a new L322 and he won't ask to see your "letter".

nothing to do with 'special' letters - whats got stuck in your ass?

maybe call me 'old school' but the letters i've received are not as previously mentioned a 'mail shot' - but from dealerships i have dealt with and who know me well enough?

you driven the L405 yet????

I'm sure that you're a very valued customer. There are good incentives on L322's, it's a great time to buy one. I'm sure that all dealerships who are still holding stock are mailing all potential prospects with details.

I've driven a couple of examples of the new car, it's mind blowingly good IMO.

the car is made in the UK but prices 'start' at £71K up to £98K - and thats before you add any 'extra's'?

could easily go up to £120K

don't you have import duty and state taxes?

State sales tax varies from 0 to 9% (may be a state somewhere that charges more). Average is 7%. Not involved in importing so not sure about duty. Dealer margins may be a little less as well, not sure what UK dealers mark up is.
