I bought myself a waffle iron from Lakeland - single sided - waste of time.

Which waffle maker would you recommend? Electric or traditional waffle iron?

Thanks.

We have an electric 'industrial' grade waffle iron. At a few hundred pounds its still considered one of the very very cheap ones but for home use its great. If you have a permanent place for the waffle iron then the tradtional ones may be a good call however as we have to get ours out everytime we use it we wanted one whihc was smaller and easier to move around - having said that it still weighs around 10 kg.

Spend a lot of time on the mixture and batter as these vary the results dramtically.
