I am, it's broken.

In reality I'm not sure what's actually wrong with it.
I THINK the database has gotten to big so it doesn't return results quick enough so the page times out. meaning it's useless....

Well now it's too slow.
Basically. Forum post history gets bigger, search takes longer. And so on.
Now it's too big for SQL to search in time.

This is what I do...
Tbh Google's search has all of our content (stuff younger than a week sometimes doesn't show, but mostly it does)
And they're definitely better at search than us!

Will there ever be a time where the search works for more than a month?

I don't want to use siteistonheads.com (and nor should any member have to). Its an important part of forum software - not least to stop duplicate posts.
