I noticed that there was an event at brooklands on new years day this year, is that happening again in January?

Yes, the New Year's Day Gathering is on at Brooklands again.

I hope to go to the Brooklands Meet as well. There were 1,700 cars this year, which makes it the largest New Year's gathering in the country.

My favourite is at the Phoenix Inn on the A30 near Hartley Wintney. A huge mix of car all just park up on the road near the pub, all free.
