How far will "musicians" sink?
Discussion
I was in a Cex store the other day and this twaddle came on;

Now, I thought thats pretty s
t - dubstep mixing some monkey noises together and remixing the Jungle Book - a child's cartoon FFS! It's one (already s
t) thing remixing and rehashing other people's songs because you're not original enough to create your own (Duck Sauce's "Barbara" comes to mind here) but dong it to kiddies tv is a new low.
Or so I thought, until I watched this video complete with "soundtrack":

How f
king low do you have to sink in the cesspit of "music" you call club/dubstep to rip off a f
king nursery rhyme for jesus tittyf

Is that not the beauty of music though? The smug feeling you can bask in as you listen to your black sleeved promo copy of ferret of doom's difficult third album safe in the knowledge that the hoi polloi are fawning over another never will be on x factor?
If that's your kind of thing that is. I just like the buzz of finding a band I've never heard before & getting into it. My daughter likes Olly Murs. Live & let live I say.

Have you ever listened some of to the sh*te that was popular in the 50s? UNBELIEVABLE dross. Never mind nicking bits of nursery rhymes - Half the time those songs didn't even contain any actual words at all, just random noises of the sort you might say to a baby!

It's Sturgeon's Law: Ninety percent of everything is dross.
That's the thing with the internet democratising the whole music industry. It means the ultra-talented, ultra-intelligent pioneer of groundbreakingness who's music is so advanced that only five people can understand it, now gets to release his album... But it also means that there is one hell of a s
