Hi guys,
I am looking for something that i can play my music through wirelessly, I do not want docks or audio jacks because these are physical parts that wear over use unlike a bluetooth reciever which lasts longer. Also iPod docks and such seem to get out dated over time anyway.

So how is Bose as a brand for not just sound quality but also build quality and robustness of there products. This is something that i want to last me for well over ten years considering the price.

If you have any experience with this product specifically or Bose in general (customer service also), please leave comments thanks.

Sorry for ste spelling cool

It's not called Buy Other Sound Equipment for nothing.
Reasonably well made, totally overpriced for what it is and laughed at in professional sound circles.

Buy one of these ... Had a listen to one the other day and it was awesome ! Theres another model up which is a play5. Have a look round on the web and theres a few deals on at the minute.

I'd pick the Sonos (Play 5) over the Bose (or a Play 3 for that matter), but as the OP mentions Bluetooth in his post, I presume he's specifically after this which I don't think the Sonos does.

I'd say it depends totally on where you will use it - just at home or out and about as well?

I love my Soundlink as it is well built, tiny, easy to use and sounds good. However, you can get better sounding speakers for £250, so if portability isn't important, it is probably mot the one to go for.

Bose does have a reputation for being a bit of a rip off, but this is one of their products that I couldn't really find a better alternative from another manufacturer.
