That looks absolutely mega.

Take it to MTM and just destroy everything on the road afterwards whilst carrying four plus luggage.

That looks just like another Audi I saw the other day! Amazing how they do that.

77k+ a lot of options means that this will be a 90k car on the road mental redface

552hp and 229g/km co2 is pretty impressive - even if you don't get both at the same time!

Ive fell in love with the RS6 ever since I was a passenger in the first RS6's.

They have immense power but the current one has left me abit cold it looks too heavy, but this one has just got it back to the groove on things!

The New RS4 and the RS6 are great lookers definately on my lotto win

I LOVE that the new RS4 and RS6 are only available in estate form.

Looks a bit like a dubious-quality aftermarket version of the current one. Carbon inside is unnecessary; is it actually going to say 'Quattro' like that on the grille?

It seems so stupid that Audi have culled the saloons from the RS lineup. They look so much better than the Avants. Not everyone has a dog, a pram and a dribbling toddler to cart round!

Mind you, this just looks ghastly full stop. Another hideously overstyled piece of tat from Ingolstadt. They need to have a word with the designer here. Audi's design language seems to have moved over-blinged, 'look at me' rubbish in the past few years. Compare this piece of guff to the older RS6 to see what I mean.

yes

Don't like the 'Quattro' bit on the grill - seems a bit naff. And why does a car with 515lb ft of torque need 8 gears?

Apart from that, looks great - although I really don't like those flared wheels arches - they're just waaay over the top.....

Quattro grille does look abit naff.

Rest of the car looks rather nice though, much prefer those sort of bulging arches over the Vauxhall Nova style fitted to the current RS4 and last RS6.

Did the C6 have bulging arches? Must have been subtle if they were?

Starting to look more and more like Darth Vaders helmet from the front which isn't a good thing to me.

Like the engine tech but 30% increased efficiency on the old one is hardly unexpected when it has lost roughly 20% of its capacity and cylinder count. So should scrape into the 20's now?

The interior looks a nice place to be though smile

Love the whole bonkers-ness of it all. The previous RS6 just didn't look "enough". Hate the naff "quattro" writing on the front. Nothing a paintbrush and a tin of Humbrol couldn't sort really.

What do we reckon for the MTM hot version, 700bhp?

Eh? For people that dont want an RS4 avant there is the RS5, and for those that dont want the RS6 avant there will be an RS7 coming later.

Besides, fast Avants have always been Audis "thing". It seems quite apt to me that the M5 is (currently?) saloon only and the RS6 will be avant only. cool

audi have also released official pictures in the obligatory resale grey but without the chavy quattro part on the grill so it must be deletable in the options list. It looks much better smile

Most people do though and looking at the target market for this type of car, there's no point in offering a less practical version. Oh and Audi have obviously though that a saloon version would effect RS7 (and RS5) sales, which it would as an RS6 saloon would be cheaper.

It will even be easier to sell when used as it will appeal to more people.

Do you want any more reasons?!

If Audi just dialed back the styling by a few notches, they would so themselves some good. Too much crap stuck to the front of the car though. It appears lighter to look at than the old one, so that's good.
