I have my mates original (not the updated re-release) Tamiya 'The Booermang', minus bodywork which had been smashed up over the years after he left home.

It's missing a few parts etc that I can see, but I'm thinking of rebuilding it if possible for his brother and nephew to use.

Are parts / bodywork still available? Where is the best place to go to track them down?

Any and all help will be much appreciated.

I'd have thought parts were available. When I rebuilt my Frog (this was before the recent re-release) I got spares from here:

Check out TeamBlueGroove on ebay. They have a massive range of repo Tamiya shells including the Boomerang...

I have just rebuilt a Tamiya Vanquish. Got loads of spare from Ebay plus a new shell from Team Blue Groove. Be aware, they usually make bodies to order and they are based in Canada. The lead time can therefore be around 2 weeks from order to delivery. Just enough time to get one before Christmas though.
