Hi all, I have been kicking around on PH now for a while but on Saturday I collected my new (well new to me) Alfa 156. I've never owned an Alfa before and first impressions are good.....Can't wait to give it a proper test, but initial spins have brought out those little devil horns and put a huge on the face. It's a 2.0 TS in Alfa red of course and veloce sport spec and although power is down on the old 323i, the revs just go on forever, and the handling......well what can you say...nothing short of genius, the balance and pose is unreal.....why didn't somebody tell me about these things sooner.

An update:-
to the Alfa.
I've now had it for 2 weeks and.....by now I have normally, in the past had a pretty good idea about whether I like the car or not. My last car (323i) had been back to the garage twice by now.
It just gets better and better....Like I said in my first post, the power is down on what I am used to, but in every other department it is a far superior car. In short, Mr BMW you have lost my continued custom.
Anyone else feel the same?
Yours sincerely
