As fas as I'm aware they are TVRs own manifolds due to the tight space and nothing else will fit in there unless made for the wedge... My passenger side one has been repaired several times and is now cracked again so I could do with a replacement too... I know ACT do stainless ones but I could do with something a bit cheaper... there is a DIY kit on fleabay but thats only any good if you can weld or know someone to do it at a reasonable cost....

Cheers, Al.

It might be worth getting in touch with pipecraft in basildon, Apparently they are pretty cheap..Get the work done while you are having brekkie in the local cafe and offer various qualities of tubing from stainless to mild steel..Ziga

The other place to try would be RT racing .

ACT used to do a mild steel manifold - probably worth asking Tim at ACT if they still do.

I contacted pipecraft about my manifolds, unfortunately they told me they only do exhausts, but I have found out since that my manifolds are ok and the leak is at the back of the car and I have had it fixed.

You'll be lucky. Look at those swept bends from the flange plate, you'd have them coming out through the wing in a Wedge biggrin
Yes, I suppose is the answer to your question, you could make it fit but the amount of cutting a re-welding you'd do, you may as well start with a pile of new bends and make it up as you go along.

I bought a spare manifold from Andy (AM400 of this parish, haven't seen him on for a bit) at one of the 'Fests, he'd had an exhaust fabricator on it three times before he got one he was happy with - this one has been squashed a bit to clear the corner of the block/ bellhousing and he didn't like it - it's still way more round than the one that's already on my car though biggrin

It was only tacked together, when the time comes that I install it I'll first have to get jiggy with the TIG set and finish the welds.

It's times like this I wish I'd kept my spare RV8; I could have used it as a jig to assemble those manifold kits from Ebay... scratchchin

Still here!

Those Exhaust Manifolds were a total nightmare. Cost a small fortune off the shelf then had to fab the exit myself for the drivers manifold myself. Got a professional to complete the welding though. Had a similar game with the system. The silencer had to go back to be modified and I had the rear pipe altered. fits perfect now though but would never buy off the shelf again.

Hi Andy, that manifold still hangs on my wall as an ornament for the moment biggrin

I've got the rear end of the system off while the diff and rear suspension is being overhauled (when I get around to it rolleyes), I should really drop the silencer, cut it open and re-stuff it as the wadding must be non-existent by now!
