Hi all, Can anyone advise where I can get hold of a replacement horseshoe shaped rubber trim for my S3. I had one missing when I bought the car. Hopefully, you can see which item I mean circled in the photo. Thanks for your help.

Tvr car parts used to do them so I would presume that David Gerald would now have the stock. Would probably be worth a call. I require a replacement too but it's far down my list of priorities.

Good luck.

I spoke to Neil Perry about these not that long before TVR Car Parts went under and he was ordering some new stock from the original supplier to the factory. However if necessary I can get some made but when i talked to Neil I was more expensive than the original supplier as they had the molds etc.

Dont forget they are 'handed'

If David Gerald don't have stock don't forget that Neil started up again as ML Performance Parts and continues to source parts for TVR's from the S-series onwards so may well be able to supply these bits.

The originals are a bit more "3 dimensional" than that, but if none were available it could be done with some careful cutting 'n glueing.

Ditto, that explains the large gap on my S2!

Should we all have these, even early cars? I think mine doesn't have any.

In the interest of preserving originality, I don't think the first batch of "S" models had these sexy mouldings. My early S has just a cut-out stick-on piece on each door, and I always thought they were meant to be.
The lack of these moulded embellishments did not influence my car's performance at Spa.
I was only just behind Scoobimax, & he's just won first place in the photo comp.in the new edition of Sprint.
I think that says it all really.
Superb picture, I wish I'd bought one of Austin, to commemorate that unbelievable weekend.cloud9

not quite the same - but how do you stick the wiper seal to the door so it doesnt start come off, every couple of months?
