Steve Vai in the UK
Discussion
I went to see Steve Vai on Monday night at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall.
What a great concert, all 3 hours of it. Lots of variety and even audience participation.
It's my fourth Vai concert and do you know what really struck me about this one? He's such a nice, personable chap and you can see he loves his audiences and doing what he does so well.
Get to see him if you can.

I saw Vai a few years ago in Brixton i think, or maybe Hammersmith. Whilst I was impressed at his skill I did find myself getting quite bored, I thought he could learn a lesson or two from Joe Satriani
Funnily enough Vai did start as Satch's student, back in the day, but I don't think he gas anything to learn from him these days.Unfortunately I'm bit seeing Vai on this tour, but I have seen him live twice before and he was absolutely flawless both times.
