Hi There,

As part of my attempt to bankrupt the family financesbiggrin, I have embarked on a silly project to try and put a Tuscan Challenge car on the road....started to gather a pile of bits....have a few bits now....the shell I have has doors....but not door handles.. innards...door shuts..

They are the same type of handles as my fixed head 350i...

Does anyone have a spare set of handles...mechanism..keepers?My only one door handle... wish list would be for the one's with "TVR" embossed...but beggars can't be choosers and all that!

Thanks in advance..clap

Thanks for the reply...watching it...but it doesn't look like the whole handle is there from that image.....I know that I had to fettle the handles on my wedge as they have a tendency to fall apart!

Will keep an eye on the item tho...thanks again

Steve

I will have a look in my parts boxes to see what I have.

It may take a couple of weeks to do this.

Hi Adrian,

Looks like I will be have job lot of wipers motors for you to refurb...think the shell has one fitted..I'd love to have your view on it mate...such a shame you lost all of that data a bit back...have Jonny Greenwood on the case for rose joint spacers...plus I need adjusters too?

Struggling for bolts too..

And a passenger door hinge...

Have an engine and box by the look of things though...ready to plug and play..so moving forward, if slowly!

Be nice to see you before Christmas...might pop round..will call before though, or pop over one night next week see the pile of scrap...appreciate your view on the chassis and cage...

thanks

i could be wrong here but aren't they capri mk3/escort mk2 items, if they are best bet would be to find a complete door that has workings but bodywork is shot! unfortunately old fords are very popular and making good money now so prices on parts going up, but you'll find more ford parts than TVR parts so i'd search there first.

no lock on handle as its passenger side but i'd fit a remote system anyway, i got one off ebay for £25 new with 2 fob (look really cool too) and 4 solenoids (which was hand because my old boot one failed, so still have 1 spare!) and its worked really well so far.

think inner handles are same too, as for linking them up you can't do a much worse job than TVR (bended coat hanger springs to mind!!) but my guess would be that they lifted the whole assembly from ford and just modified it to allow for different lenght.
