Str8six + mot + snow+ 350bhp = fun day out
Discussion
What a fun day.....
Well headed up from the south coast to Str8six today with my T350c and family size biscuits for the boys.
After -2 start this morning and treading carefully I was around five miles or so before I came across lots of white stuff on the ground. Str8six lane was sheet ice but made it in one piece.
Car flew through MOT again making it another clean sweep with no advisories ever.... Tempt fate.
Jason had his race car on the ramps being worked on and reckons it should be finished by the end of next week fingers crossed.
The Jap Jag was also up on ramps having new oil and bits finally done to it .... Should be nearer 200bhp soon !
Only other customers car being worked on whilst I was there was a sag F11 SAG looked amazing in bits!
Car now washed and put away because I could hardly recognise it after 180 miles and snow and salt.
Keep it on the black stuff and away from the fluffy white stuff.

Either way F1 SAG (green one) is/was with Mat Smith the other week

Don't say Matt has sold it, it was one of the best Saggys out there,,.
Not too sure what you mean - Mat Smith as in servicing Indie chap in Downham Mkt, he had the car up with him to do some work on.

Hi guys was there yesterday dropping of some bits for the T350 & drooling at the Sag and can testify to the lane being sheet ice
I nearly went arse over tit in the yard on the black ice whilst trying to figure out how much i could get of the Sag with a good trip lawsuit
Saw a new to me TVR colour on a Tuscan, moondust something or other!
Also spent the obligatory 10 minutes staring @ the race car, as i'll most probably only see the arse of it out on track next year!
Hats off to Jason & the guys for having the balls to build what is essentialy a new TVR race car, there is allot of time[money] and design gone into the car that would not look out of place on many grids around the world
If your reading this Jason don't let that play on your mind to much when we all go steaming into the first corner @ the start of the new season

I'm off to Str8six tomorrow for a throttle body recondition and am hoping the snow will have gone.
Do Str8six do MOT'S? If so are they decat friendly?
They don't do MOTs themselves, there is a place around the corner in Postcombe that does them for them. I think you'll find you car won't fail the MOT as long as the parts are in the car when you take it in to them...Do Str8six do MOT'S? If so are they decat friendly?

Dropped mine at Jasons on Wednesday too, it was the most scary drive I have had in a while. Motorways were OK but the journey to the motorway & the approach to the garage were fun. Ended up a little sideways by the 'pink house'
Saw your car there...looks a beauty! I'm going for the roller bearing mod...I hope it finally smooths the engine!
I am now the proud driver of their MITSUOKA VIEWT... what a machine!
