Overseas folks needing to mount rear number plates?
Discussion
What i did was use two UK plates back to back to fill out the recess. Then drilled these out to mount the number plate with clearance for the screws to clear the boot recess. Then fitted two LED bolts which are wired to the existing back lights. Hey presto...

Works for NZ plates anyway! I am going to get some Euro plates made up but as NZ folks will know its not as easy as just getting a set from Ebay!! I will wait until I decide which personalised plate to go for and get them made then.
Cheers..

They can actually be internal yes. But all the options we looked at either looked terrible or gave bad reflections off the rear screen. Jim does a fantastic job on the T350, but options even more limited with that one.
The boot mounted Cerb lights actually look factory when you see them in the flesh. The lines fit in with the car.
Cheers
