Where is the nearest petrol station to Silverstone?

Can any of you regular Silverstone trackers tell me where the nearest fuel station selling super unleaded is please.

Shell about 5 mins down the road on the A43 if you head east towards M1

If they sell V Power then this will be ideal.

The nearest Shell garage is on the A5 south of Towcester at Paulerspury - the have V Power. The BP garage on the A43 just before Towcester sells BP 97 RON "Ultimate".

Silverstone does have Gulf fuel pumps in the paddock (old pitlane, not the Wing), but you will pay an absolute fortunate, best avoided.

Last time i was there, the on-site station was around 10p per L more than at normal stations.
A price worth paying considering i would i have had to change to road tyres, go out of circuit, fill up, back in and refit slicks. Big loss of track time.
I paid the £££.

I've always used the Super Unleaded on site. Costs a bit more but worth it to avoid the need to drive off-site

The shell on the a5 at paulersbury is now a bp!

Newport Pagnell northbound m1 is shell and does vpower

New shell garage may now be open on the a43 at towcester roundabout, which will be very handy for silly. Wasn't,t finished when I drove by at the end of october

There use to be a Total at Tove Service Station, that is now a Shell....it is literally a couple of miles on the A43 towards M1 direction. I filled up there twice last Saturday!That is the closest Shell with ample V-power!

Shell is down the road as is BP and Tesco. Also if Silverstone are open thenmselves whcih they were last week then thats as close as you can get. They sell 97 octane and 102 Octane on pump. However you will pay silverstone Tax as i was paying 1.48 for 97 :-O
