A Minor Switch Mod (for the more adventurous!)

Its always bugged me that AM decided to fit the PRND switches on the main console with red LED indicators (to show when selected).
This seems counter intuitive since red indicates to me (at least) STOP or FAILURE.
Its particularly noticable at night when the rest of the dash is illuminated in subtle whites and greens.
Being from an electronics background (initially) I didn't think it would be too difficult to change the red LEDs for something more subtle (and white seemed to be the most obvious choice). Here is the result...
It may seem a minor modification to most, but to my eye it makes a significant difference to how the centre console looks (as I say, particularly at night).
The original LEDs are standard 'chip' components and replacements (of any colour) are readily available (about 25p each). Its a bit faffing to take the switches apart but once done, replacing the LEDs is a fairly easy job (assuming you have some basic skills with a soldering iron).
If anybody is considering doing the same then PM me for further details.
