As above really. Are they decent? They're priced keenly, so I'm assuming they're more towards the budget end of things? :/

Depends what you are after. They will grip reasonably well but won't last.

I had these on a 205 gti a few years ago and couldn't fault them.

I've been using them for the past 6 months or so, pretty well recommended from me! Good in the dry, excellent aquaplaning resistance, the only criticisms would be that they pick up (and retain) stones/gravel easily because of the tread pattern and the sidewall is a bit soft. On track you could feel it squelching, but on the road I don't drive hard enough to notice.

Exceptional grip in both wet and dry, will wear quickly but are cheaper than premium tyres. I found them excellent on track.

I've used them. Probably the best value for money tyre on the market for most sizes. They work better on lighter cars as they don't have particularly hard sidewalls.

They have soft sidewalls so I think the general concensus is that they're fine on lighter cars. I have run them on my Clio 172 Cup for over three years with no complaints, even done a few hillclimbs with them!
I didn't think they were still available? Price had shot up about 20% last time I bought some, maybe a year ago.

As everyone else has said really. Great grip, wear quickly. I had on my clio 182 and was lucky to see 7k miles from the fronts. But still always replaced with the same.

Good in the wet, fine in a straight line in the dry, a bit rubbish when new for dry cornering (the race series that used them had them scrubbed down quite a bit). Cheap but unlikely to make you crash. Not dreadful in snow either (as long as they have plenty of tread).

I'm not a big fan, but I currently have a set on my Elise because they aren't bad (and because it has grip to spare in the dry). I've also used them on my MX5 and RX7 with similar results.

I prefer Marangoni Zetas for the same money (better cornering grip in the dry), but then I'm not a professional tyre tester or anything.

Had them on a scoob. Good in all conditions. Seemed alright on track too (only bothered with one session in the scoob).

Wear was ok too.

Not as good as Falken FK452 IMO in the same price band, made my car feel soft and spongy, didn't like them at all.

The only Falkens I can find are the ZE912s... no good I presume?

Just out of interest, what car were they fitted on? I have considered FK452's for the next set but heard they have been replaced by inferior FK453s?

Soft side walls so size and profile dependant. Rubbish on anything with a bit of side wall driven enthusiastically.

I really liked them on my old fiesta zs mk5. Wet grip was poor though.

I even managed to starve my engine of oil at mallory park with them on, people came upto me expecting to see slicks and were shocked!

Well, a bit of a different experience to everyone else, but I'm about half way through a set on my TVR and have done 13,000 miles on them. I'd say that's a pretty good wear rate but I suppose it's a fairly light car.

The new ratings system thing for tyres seems to rate them poorly for wet use, though.

Had them on our Alhambra, seemed fine but didn't last very long. 452's lasted ages on the Golf though.

T1Rs as said, good grip in wet or dry, wear quickly, softish sidewalls and one of the best value for money tyres you can get, they also have a fairly distinctive tread pattern and you will most likely see it if you are behind any classic scooby as they seem to be the tyre of choice until you get to 350bhp+ power figures.

I have used them on my MR2, Scooby and Focus and they have proved to be very capable but i have had friends who have put them on heavier cars and they have been a little disappointing. Anything eavier than about 1500kilos seems to be past their best.
