Spa 2013 - Resurrection

Ok gang, looks like a few of us are heading back to Spa in 2013. Chatting with a few folk on Facebook and plan is looking like a preference for Easter weekend, trackday is being run by our fine friends at Circuit Days.
Rough plan is the head over Saturday 30th March, do the trackday on the 31st, head home Monday. As is usual it's a case of booking all the bits individually, so amend as you see fit - some may head over earlier and make more of a weekend of it, others may stay on to do the 2nd day on the Monday. Essentially though, if we can get a good group of us there for the Saturday night and the Sunday trackday, then I reckon that it will be quite a wheeze. The good lady Amazon has spoken to Circuit Day who will do us a bit of discount if we can at least get 10 cars, down to £279 from the £299. Still not cheap but hey, it's Spa!!
As I say, it's a book it all individually job and no-one is tied to specifics - but for me I've booked the now traditional Radisson Blu in town which is usually a favourite, then I've booked train for Saturday at 1020 out and back on Monday on the 1536.

k, trackday booked for the Sunday, hotel booked for Sat & Sun night. Can't wait.

I'm tempted to go out on Friday, drive to the Nordschleife, a couple of laps Friday evening, steak on the stone at Sabines.
Saturday morning do a couple of more laps then cruise over to Spa on the Saturday afternoon

There are usually TF days at the Ring over the Easter weekend, however it is always extremely busy and prone to accidents/stoppages. Easter is also very early next year, so likely to be slightly colder/wetter (or even snowy).
I did both April and October at Spa with CircuitDays this year, but I'm not likely to book the Easter weekend. However if anyone has a spare passenger seat and would like a contribution towards costs let me know.

So do we want to make the call that we're paying the Pistenklause a visit on the Friday night whether there are tourist days or not?
I know this has come up loads of times before, but suggestions of for a helmet that meets the below before I go spend hours in the Track Day section?
