Yaris Fuel Rail pressure issue

Evening,
GF has an 09 Yaris SR D4D, it was in her local garage today for a service and to check an issue its developed recently where the car cuts out on acceleration.
The garage did a diagnostic check and said it fuel rail pressure.
Any one had any experience with this? My first thoughts would be fuel pump or a problem with the rail itself. All the garage said was its a costly fix.
