Black Cod - Nobu Style

Guys,
I want to cook this at home after eating in nobu.
It appears that there is confusion on the type of fish black cod actually is.
Someone was telling me it is 'butterfish' other state it is actually 'black cod'.
Both types of fish cannot be found at local waitrose, tesco or sainsburies - i have not tried a fishmonger just yet but any guidance would be good.
Has anyone made this before?
