As some may remember, I was worried about the ground clearance on the V6S after moving to our new home because the speed bumps are rather high but I have managed to raise the exhaust a tad and I also found that kicking the wife out of the car to walk in whilst I drive carefully over them also helps
She's only 9 stone but it makes a difference!
Went out for a blat yesterday and the exhaust was fine.
Still, the exhaust needs repairs or replacing soon and I will try and gain some more clearance if possible.
Unfortunately, on returning home I didn't spot the pillar in the garage as I reversed in and now I need to repaint it

Just the sort of thing that always happens when you are so busy concentrating on something else. Hope its not too much effort to fix.
My wife was really worried about taking one of my cars out as it grounds back when we drive back into our parking area (unless taking a certain route) so she never takes it round the back. I was making a cuppa in the kitchen when she decided to come around the back, waving as she saw me - forgetting completely to take the cunning route and further scraping the splitter!
I was very kind and didn't tease her at all*
* I might be fibbing about that though

Thanks Rob, yes shouldn't be too bad to fix just time and paint really. More annoying than anything and you were right, I was concentrating on trying not to reverse into the BBQ and lawnmower at the back of the garage at the time!
I have some foam padding to fix around the pillar but haven't done so yet but it's on my list of chores....
