Half or full leather ?
Discussion
Hi Skateboard, I have two Griffs both full leather (by chance more than choice).
Half leather means just the seats and possibly the facing to the central tunnel are leather, the reast is matching leatherette.
Full leather is basically everything you see that should be leather, is leather.
From what I can see, a full leather TVR doesn't seem to command a greater price, in fact not many people seem to know about it.

Oh right, then it's probably only my seats that are leather and the rest vinyl/leatherette !!Half leather means just the seats and possibly the facing to the central tunnel are leather, the reast is matching leatherette.

As mentioned already, half-hide was the standard from the factory. For my '99 450, that meant ONLY the seat facings (the bits you sit on or touch) are leather. The backs are vinyl as is everything else in the cockpit (central tunnel and dash).
If you look very closely, you should see a subtle change in grain around the seat. The easiest place to see this is around the headrest.
