Evening all,

Just wondering which, if any, other Porsche forums you use and would recommend as informative from a more DIY/technical point of view. As a few of you will know, I've been meddling with a 996 turbo for the last 5 1/2 years so anything of similar relevance would be good.

Cheers

I use Rennlist. I've found a few good tips on there. I started there for the 928 forum, but migrated to the 996 Turbo forum after selling the beast. smile

+1 for Rennlist.

Tends to me more American than UK, but doesn't really suffer much for that. Tends to be more technical than here, and a lot less arguments too.

Try http://www.renntech.org

IMO the best technical forum for later cars.

I'm always browing:

Rennlist - joined that forum but don't post on there. Found them not as friendly & helpful as they are on here smile

911uk.com - Not nearly as many postings as there are on PH!

6speedonline.com - US forum seems that most of the Americans on the 996 Turbo/GT2 section have tuned/customised their cars.

All three have interesting topics but nowhere near on the banter you get on here!!

I use Rennlist. It does not have the repartee or partisanism but is excellent for getting straight answers. 6speed on line seems to me to be a "look at me" place.

Thanks for the suggestions fellas, I'll have a browse and see if I can find anything that fits the bill. Thing is, I dont have the time (or inclination) to regularly follow several different forums so I guess I'll catch up with some of you guys somewhere on t'interweb depending on what grabs my attention.

Thanks again

911Uk may not have as many posts, but is a good alternative.

Really? I find it very sparsely populated. The content on there however is quite good. I find the 986 Forum better personally.

Rennlist is the best technical forum as mentioned before.
