My cousin has asked me to service his old Focus for him. I went to Eurocarparts despite previous experiences as I had a 31% discount code.

Thought I'd buy a litre of antifreeze to strengthen it up.

It was only when I got home that I realised 1) they'd given me a 5 litre can of antifreeze and, 2) I've never previously heard of Triple QX, the manufacturers of the anti freeze. Their oil was on offer too but I declined for cheaper Shell Helix 5w30.

So, who's behind Triple QX?

Eurocarparts no doubt repackaging someone else's stuff! I'm sure it'll be fine, it's VAG, Renault, Mercedes Benz and MAN approved. Just would be interesting to know who they're buying it in from.

Pretty sure (95%) it's Onyx Oil from Holland.

My local ECP centre told me it was Shell based.
