Well, its time for the policy to be updated again, and my current insurer who i've been with for 7 years is now taking the piss. £250 more than the lowest quote on go compare.

The lowest quote is from this company rescuemycar.com and it seems they are a breakdown agent that now do car insurance.

Never heard of them before.

Any experiance?

Does anyone else tend to pay more for insurance for a bigger, more well known name, or is it case of getting it legal for the smallest amount of £ possible?

Rescuemycar probably aren't the insurer just simply put their name to the policy, find out who the insurer is and make a decision from there.

My experience with the breakdown cover was poor so I personally wouldn't contemplate dealing with them but I am sure others will have found them fantastic.

How's about that for balance?
