...anyone seen those adverts that have newish cars at really low prices, with

!!!PRIVATE SALE!!!

And an email address below?

Well suspect - you'd think AT would do something about them. They stink of scam, anyone have any idea what their aim is?

So what's the deal? What is the scam behind them?

They don't want to be traced to a phone number and then want you to pay through western union for a car that doesn't exist, the photos are often lifted from a legit ad.

I posted the above topic. It happened to me.
I had a load of people phone me on my mobile who had seen my genuine advert after no reply from this scam advert.
They were all suckered and I could quite easily of said give me a £250 deposit to sell them the car by bank transfer and I actually think I could of got it.
That will be what the scammers are doing.
