I might get some flak for for this and I guess 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder' but here goes my roll of the dice...

My old 1.8 Vectra started off like this...

and looked like this a short while later.....not everyones cuppa I know but I liked it!

Those are pretty good quality photos considering your camera is ten years old.

Cheers mate!.....still using it as it goes! High time I upgraded the body to be honest but it still takes decent pics.

I hoped my assertion that I would get some flak was kinda like 'attack is the best form of defence' and that people would go gentle with me!

C'mon.....yeh, looking back it was a 'bit' naff but I thought it walked the fine line between modified and standard. tongue out

Mostly on PH the car would start looking like the "after" and finish up looking like the "before"...

Christ, that's something I would expect to see while walking through an estate.

No, I sold it about 5 years ago but found the pics on my HD and got a warm fuzzy feeling! Could be the bottle of Sauvignon Blanc that's responsible for this irresponsible thread!

Funnily enough I replaced it with a Vectra estate! wink

No offence but dear god that's horrible. You've successfully taken a bad car and made it even worse.

No point trying to 'sell' Vauxhalls on here!

I like it.

Nope, still can't see a similarity. I only thought BTCC Vectra's looked good!

A 'similarity' to what? It wasn't meant to look like a BTCC car. However the changes I made were all VX or Irmscher parts.

I'd have felt quite the tool driving around the streets in a BTCC rep tbh.

It looks like a very good example of a vectra.
