What's the helicopter noise in Aberdeen city centre?

It's fecking noisy.

Seemed to be hovering for a good half hour at least, not just a drop off.

Was about 1am, confused me.

Couple of people asked on twitter, no answers.

Remember one night a few years ago when staying with my fiancee in Aberdeen there was a helicopter above us for about an hour at 2am. Turns out it was searching for a missing person around the uni halls campus. That was very very annoying! Know how you felt! Then again, being a bit drunk and a bit of a headache didnt help! Haha

I assume it was something important at that time of night.

Hopefully they found who/whatever they were looking for anyway
