Good news first - my wife is pregnant ... hopefully if everything works out, will be a Dad for the first time early next summer biggrin

Bad news - because of the above, realistically will have to sell the SEAC because the cash is going to be needed elsewhere. Oh well, lucky to have been able to own it rolleyes, but priorities have to change sometimes I guess.

Hi Chris..Congratulations on becoming a dad and commiserations on the prospect of having to sell the SEAC..It certainly is a beaut..If my inheritance was to come in delilah and i would probably have to part company..as much as i love her..A red SEAC is just too tempting to pass up...Ziga

Congratulations and commiserations in the same sentence!

Seems a bit wrong somehow.

Exchanging 1 bundle of joy for another, I'm sure will be worth it in the long run!
In the meantime, good luck with selling the SEAC, I'm sure you won't have any problem with the sale at all, I wish I could realistically afford it, unfortunately I can't see that happening without a lottery win frown

Hi Chris

Congratulations to you both!
I had to sell my motorbike when I first became a Dad, but then she mellowed and I managed to salt away a bit each month til I could stick something in the garage without too many questions...

It was then that I learnt " do what ever you think is right" actually means NO.

Shameless 'might be for sale, lets talk up the price of my SEAC' thread....

Seriously, congrats Chris - I think you'll find the rumble of a V8 is very good at settling a restless little one - I know I've tried, also helps destressing and getting away from it all - I've had several 'new baby forces purchase' experiences.

I'm sure the 'man maths' could work but good luck either way...

Paul.

Thanks all for the congrats. Just hope my wife starts feeling a bit better soon as the `morning` sickness is dragging on a bit.
Somebody asked me about names the other day - far too soon to worry about, but I guess Tasmin and Trevor might have to be squeezed into the list of possibles wink
