Go easy everyone, I was reminded how slippery white lines are in this weather when giving it some beans this afternoon past some usual Sunday traffic.

The back end became very light and gave an unsettling twitch - woke me up if nothing else!

Not the white lines for me today but mud on the road, pretty much straight road under heavy acceleration in 2nd I hit a muddy stretch of road. Nothing coming the other way so no issues just kept going straight on with car @ 25 degrees to the road!!! Took a bit to keep on the straight and narrow when the mud suddenly ran out. eek

He he, both I'm not as good as thought, lol. I've been trying to wear out the Potenza's that came on the car over a year ago. There so hard, not at all right for such a light back end, diabolical in fact, makes for interesting driving at this time of year, they've got to go, looking a Toyos 888 s but as there a track /road tyre not sure how long they would last on the road? Anybody made a set last awhile? Mainly road use. Think it's best get a spare set of wheels. Good grippy road tyres any ideas!

I can imagine. Mine's still not back, but my 1.6 Focus was spinning its wheels in-gear this morning. I'm sure an extra 200 bhp and 300 kg less would make things quite interesting!

Toyo T1Rs if you can get them or Roadsports if not. Fab in the rain. Still not great in the snow/ice but what is on a TVR ? Four space-saver wheelrs would probably do it though !
