Campagnolo clothing/accessories - any good?

For Xmas, I'm thinking about getting my dad the Campagnolo Steam Thermo gloves, thermo 3/4 socks and a skullcap.

Anybody used this stuff and is it any good? I've obviously heard of their components but not sure if their clothing is any good?

My dad is a fair weather cyclist, don't think his bike has got wet yet So ultimate cold weather performance is not essential, but thought this gear might help him to enjoy those crisp sunny winter mornings.

In fairness, Rapha don't have a lot of heritage as they're a new company and have created their image. Whereas Campag have all the history and kudos that goes with winning stuff, making stuff, and being awesome at stuff.

Yes their stuff is very good, and can be picked up cheaply on sale with a lot of online retailers at the moment. I've a few of their base layers and thermal jackets and i can't fault them.
Make sure you get the sizing right, they tend to be smaller than other manufacturers.

I bought a number of Campag clothing items and whilst they look very cool, I'm to entirely sure of the quality. Also their sizing differs greatly from other manufacturers, small being very small!
