Hi cantus
Our intentions are to build the car as new as possible obviously some bits just aren't available in this instance we shall either refurb parts or make new parts ,we have a damaged sag in stock for spares but will not be putting any damaged parts on the new car any second hand parts used will be fully reconditioned
This is a cerb build we are just completing we also built 2 sags in 2010 will left over parts they were fitted power 4.5 engines one went to Switzerland the jungle green one and the the other one is here I use it as a track car , it as ceramic breaks paddle clutch etc the 4.5 is running well ! , enjoy this cold spell ,john

Hallo John,
Well, that looks good. That Cerb is on a high standard condition. Very nice.
About the new Sags, did you receive any interest for it? Any orders maybe. Are you aloud to call it a TVR? Maybe not.But...At the time it did work for the TVR Trident. Many Tridents were build without the TVR badge and were badged with Trident Clipper and Trident Ventura.I see a similarity between the Sag and the Trident. Both coupe's and both very nice cars at the time they were produced. Good luck John. @Christian. Hey Christian; how's the Tusc? you like it ?

AIUI if the factory didn't register the chassis then it won't be a TVR unless it's a re-built write off/restoration etc.
So a kit and registered on a Q unless VAT paid or?VAT isnt usually payable on kit cars as its paid on purchase of the parts themselves... a company building a kit would claim VAT back on the parts and charge vat back on it so in practice VAT is only extra on the labour.
A Q plate is only assigned to a car were the source of the parts is not able to be established... if all new (ie not used in a full car previously) parts are used with the exception of one major component (not the chassis).... so either the engine or box can be a reconditioned item as long as the ret is all new and still get a new plate.
Having built a kit, it was registered under the name of the company providing the kit parts i.e. an Ultima.... so if the chassis etc are all originaly from TVR then I cant see why it wont be registered as a TVR?
Also a 'KIT' has no difference in registration to a normal car other than the 'kits' name.... so it will just be a newer TVR.
I know someone who built a Noble M12 from parts supplied by the factory... it was no different in registration to a normal car.... also pretty sure TVR's were registered in same was as kits cars are i.e. SVA... or were they type approved and crash tested etc etc?
