insurance question

Hi there. I'm looking into getting a MK1 mx5 but why are the imports more expensive to insure?
are there any insurance companies that don't charge more for import models?

Depends who you go with! I had Aviva insure me cheaper on a Eunos than a UK mx5 would have been. Wierd.

Try Greenlight insurance, they're giving good quotes for members of mx5nutz at the moment.

Just been phoning around insurers this afternoon. Only tried specialists so far (trying to beat my renewal from Adrian Flux) and Greenlight were good, with Sky even better. Footman James wouldn't quote me at all. Now to see what Flux want to say about it...
