Fiest 07 1.4 TDCi or Ibiza 08 1.4 (petrol)

Hello all,

The two cars above are available from a friend of mine, the Seat having 40k on the clock and the Fiesta 70k. Both have FSH but coming from a Jap/German car background, I dont know much about these.

So I'm after some helpful advice on which to go for.... or neither. What are the pros and cons? Most importantly, what are they like in terms of reliability?

I need to decide soon so thought I'd kick start a thread. Will get onto some research via Google now too

Would really appreciate any advice.
