Carole Nash at Altingham, if its a pre 92 car they class it as a classic but you need be over 25...... so get an older member fo the family to insure it with u as named driver sorted
You may find alot of companies dont do the classic policy for under 25 unfortunatly but if you aim for classic it will be cheapest.

Cheam Insurance (02087701001) always used to be very competitive for wedges for the under 25s, given it has been a long time since I used them, not sure how they fair now.. but worth a call.

JJ - can you drop me an email, lost your address, have tried to use the link under your profile but states address not valid.. Cheers S.

I was 24 when I bought my 400SE.. I started off with 1 years NCD, and insured it as a "Future Classic" with ClassicLine.
These days, im still with ClassicLine (7 Years Later)

Keep 'em coming chaps!

I'm just thinking of a young professional of about 23 who is contemplating getting a Wedge.

i had just turned 23 when i got my 400se, and the only people who gave me a sensible quote were tescos. I've got 3 points for speeding, full ncb, and the car is parked off road, but not garaged and i'm paying £900 full comp.

My son (21) rang around various insurers to get cover for a weekend on my 350i. No-one would touch him, even with a clean licence and 3yrs NCB.

I had just got my licence, was 23 and had a 280 to insure. Tesco were the cheapest and with a Pass Plus that still came to £1100 TPFT. Without Pass Plus is would have been £1500.
