Hey. I'm currently looking at options for my next car.

I have about 8000 to spend, and I really want a roadster.
I have had a mk1 mx5 in the past and would like something a bit more comfortable and less buzzy on moterway!

So far my short list extends to an rx8 and a 350z. There is plenty of time to try them as it's not going to happen to the spring.

What else is out there?

£8k would get you into a nice C4 Corvette or late 4th Gen Fbody, although I'd opt for a T-top rather than a full vert in the Fbodys.

Chims are also this sort of money too.

E39 M5, go big or go home!

EDIT: Ahh... This doesn't really fit the roadster bill... Proceed.

Isn't a roadster usually open topped?

In which case I'm going to say Honda S2000 if it's for regular use or a Chimaera 430 for weekend frolics.

Who makes the Gen Fbody, is this a new chinese company? Vert? Do you mean buy a green one? What's a Chim?

He speaks American, i imagine he lives on the outskirts of Brum and has a car like Roscoe-Peee-Coletrain as a Sunday toy .....
