Since this cold spell the door glass does not return to the top, have taken door card off found 2 wires a bit suspect so fixed them & the same ?

Decided to look at the blocks coming into car at the front A pillar, bit damp so dried them with hair dryer nothing?

If I unplug the Window/door control box it does go up but open the door the door it drops as it should but thats it all over again, also if you lower the glass on the window button it will only go up to the lowered position ?
I am thinking the ECU box is at fault ?

Sounds more like the position microswitch behind he glass inside the door panel than the control box to me. Probably worth changing that before spending a lot on the control box.

tanguero I thought that the micro switch controlled the drop of the glass ? It stops at the right height but will not go back up at all unless control box reset ?

I happen have a micro switch will try it on the week end cheers!

A well known Cerbera owner had this very same problem a few week ago. Look for a small magnet in the lock on the body. I'm sure the good lady will be here soon to explain.

All sorted,thought I would share .
The wax type glue in side the control box had partly become unstuck & was allowing the top board (the one which has the large multi-plug) to move slightly.

When the top carpet flap moved it brushed against the wire loom into the plug so no power to doors etc.

Took a few days of bewilderment but there it is!
