Hi - need some help...

Have a C63 2009 w. Command system - however it won't sync the contacts with my iPhone 5- I've looked around the web and appears to be a known issue - but struggling to find a solution....might actually need to phone the MB dealer but that really is a last resort ;-)

Any suggestions - this worked on the m3 and I really can't believe this doesn't work....

Thanks

Basically not doable, its amazing, I've hard old ford fiesta hire cars that can do this, and merc cant...

However, if you ultra insist, you'll first need the media interface option, 3 wires in the glove box, one for the iphone, one usb, and one phono. If you have that you can order the media interface plus kit, which plugs into that, and lets you form a bluetooth connection with that to stream music etc, with that I 'believe' you can sync contacts, oh, and it ain't cheap...

The solution? Buy a proper business phone like a Blackberry wink

Turn bluetooth on phone on, contacts can be synced, text to voice readout etc etc, easy peasy.

It's only the iPhone that won't do it. Put your contacts on a Blackberry or export them to a PMCIA card and load them.

I presume you don't have the telephone prep option - that would let you do it.

Apple bobbins....

yikes blackberry - a proper phone - you must be mistaken - I have one but strictly for work - not yet tried to sync it tho...

Whilst digging I found a post on another forum saying to sync the MacBook via bluetooth with the command system and then you can export contacts - sounds v convoluted - still can't believe it doesn't work out the box....properly rubbish - particularly when the media interface has an apple logo on the screen as if to say how wonderfully compatible with apple the system is... Ho hum

I did also ask the dealer - he claimed his "phone expert" was off until after Xmas - that"ll be a "no we haven't a scooby sir..."
