Found on the net:

Since when Guiness book of records has anything to do with lap times?

“Wads: Confirmed the lap was done using slicks.... the spec they used is as follows:

The GTR720 had the following settings for the lap record run:

Dunlop slicks were fitted. Front size-235/640/18 Rear size-340/660/18
(The Ferrari FXX driven by Schumacher also had slicks fitted)

Anti-roll bars were fitted- These are now a "factory fit" only option in conjunction with the rose jointed wishbones option

Ride height was standard. 110mm front. 160mm rear

Front negative camber was 2.0 degrees

Rear negative camber was 1.2 degrees

Rear toe was 2mm overall

Tyre pressures hot were front 24psi rear 31psi

Dampers were all set at 40 clicks (Intrax)

Road springs were 25% stiffer which are an option

Standard Porsche G50-03 transaxle”

And if true I wish I knew about this swaybar option!!!!!!!

When I was buying my car, I asked about the sway bars. The reply I got from Richard was "We don't offer or recommend sway bars or suspension bars?"

Hey admin,

since the factory needs to answer to questions that arise very frequently it might be a good idea to make a sticky, with
threads that contain questions like these:

why no sway bars on the ultima ?
Has the record car longer wishbones ?
Can I order the GTR in full carbon ?

That would give a new builder a good summary of questions that have been asked many times before, not
to mention the fuel system threads..................

Or the Factory could put them on their web site.

Yes, like an F.A.Q section. Answer it once, never answer it again.

Ultima factory said:
Anti Roll Bars-

The factory has experimented with many suspension set ups over the past 20 years and ant-roll bars have been tried on several occasions and indeed fitted to some of the earlier customers cars that we have built.
However we have found that there is no performance advantage in terms of lap time or drive improvement when fitted using road or track tyres. Plus these bars must be disconnected for road use as they increase the sharpness of handling on a public road to an unacceptable level. They also tend to rattle and due to the loads imposed must be fitted only to Ultima cars with the upgraded wishbones supplied with the rose jointed suspension option.
For the above reasons the factory no longer offers an anti-roll bar option for the Ultima as the car simply does not need it.
As Ultima Sports Ltd basic business model is the manufacture and selling of parts you can rest assured that if we thought it was a good idea to fit anti roll bars on an Ultima we would be offering this option.

Regards to all,
I agree the all of the above.. I am one of the lucky owners whos GTR was fitted with anti-roll bars front and back along with rose jointed suspension.
Well I say fitted, I removed them and they are hanging up in the garage as on the road they can be bloody dangerous. If you drive over a cats eye the car shoots to one side as there is no give. On the track, well I will let you know as IM doing them next year and will be trying them out.

My Noble M400 was better on the road without the ARB fitted.

You guys must have rubbish roads. Our roads are great. I can do 200kmh+ on the way home with no traffic around and the roads are good enough and open enough for that (not that I'd do it wink ) But ARB on the street for me feels like a need when I get into it.
