Could've sworn I bookmarked an old thread recommending somewhere for about £30-40 but can't find it now. Anyone have the details please? Got some new Rain Sport 2s coming for my shed tomorrow and want to get it set up right afterwards as it's pulling to the left and wearing them on the inside.

By the way if any of you guys are still to swap onto winter tyres, Brian at Headingley Tyre Centre does them for £6 a wheel. He's also usually very good on new tyre prices and holds a good stock of part worns too. For example: 2 brand new Rain Expert 2s 195/65/15 91V are £59 incl. and some pence each on camskill, then you have your £6 delivery on top of that, then your cost for someone to fit them. Brian quoted me £60 incl. each, fitted, for the exact same tyres. Well worth giving him a call as it's good to support the local guys if you can and he's a sound bloke too.

Tams Geo is the man amongst the trade. I have 2 VX220's done by him now for half the cost of these "specialists" people drive 150 miles to use. Half the cost as well. If you ask at most accident repair places or anywhere that doesn't have their own kit in Leeds it will be Tam that calls in and does it.

That's Garry Tamms, problem there is you need a four poster (not a bed) for him to work on.

Not quite Leeds but I went to that place in Tockwith. I only needed our snotter 206 doing and as only the front is adjustable they didn't charge me anything like full price.

It also didn't leave till it was right.

That would be track torque. Super place for any type of work. Lots of nice cars there as well.

I came across this website..

Rang them up to ask a few questions. Got hold of a guy who really struggled a basic grasp of english. Couldn't say when the guy who does it was back in, wouldn't take my number so he could call me back..

Hung up. Never will call again.

I paid them a visit recently, on the strength of reviews I'd read. Turned up and he was talking to some customers. He acknowledged me with a quick node. After about 5 minutes he then walked through to his office at the rear of the garage and sat down at his desk, continuing his conversation with those customers. I stood there for another 5 minutes and he still didn't pop over to at least say sorry mate, I'll be with you in 5 minutes, or whatever. After 10 minutes I left. Can't understand customer service like that !

Took the Clio into Andy yesterday going off this thread, after a test drive feels a lot better. Found it was toeing in quite a bit at the front more than it should and is a lot less fidgety now after taking some of it out.

I think we stood chatting about a car of his he was restoring and his racing days just as long as it took him to do the job though smile

Will be going back again.
