I seen a 640i gran coupe last week and it almost knocked me over with its looks, that is even better, i would happily take this over an M5

BMW are on form at the minute

I went to look at one with a friend, the 640d also, stunning car and the interior is the best of its class by some distance. We went to the Merc and Audi garage and none came close to the 6 series. The only car that did was the Jaguar XJ 'PORTFOLIO' model.

It looks nice from most angles and hides its bulk well, but in pure profile the front looks oddly bulbous and high and the rear rather rather pinched.

Like thumbup

Still not a fan of the M6 grill badge, seems like such an afterthought.

That is a handsome motor.

I don't really like the 6 series, but that works.

Looks very nice, not sure if I would take one over a CLS63 though

It's a stunning car and so much prettier than the CLS. The interior is lovely.

I can't help but feel that BMW make the 5 deliberatly ugly and pudgy so they can "find space" for a good looking model.

It's a great looking car and, price aside, surely makes the M5 redundent?

"Gran Coupe" makes it sound like a two door automatic Micra for old ladies.

Only seen one on the road & it does look pretty, but my god those new 6 series are absolutely huge!

Too big for modern British roads I'd have thought?

How in the name of hell do you all find bloated 4 door barges "stunningly good looking" ?

An E Type roadster is stunning good looking. A 250 swb is stunningly good looking. An E9 CSL is stunningly good looking. That bloated thing is not.

Why not get the M5 and save £35,000?
