I'm getting round to planning the re-trim but both seat cushions on my '79 3000S are not really re-usable so I'm wondering if anyone can point me to someone/somewhere I can find some replacements.

I'm trying to keep as close as possible to the original so not considering seats from other cars (yet!) although early wedges look similar.
Any help/suggestions gratefully received.

These may be "available" if you are interested, as I have some leather V8S seats to go in when the car returns from paintshop. I'm struggling to "get my head around" the '70s Velour but they are in very good condition (and comfortable) having been completely refurb by a previous owner.

Can't find a receipt but did find one for making and fitting full carpet set in 2002 ... £1,725 yikes

Seems a massive ammount of trouble to got to Adrian injection moulding foam rubber in such small batches. Where on earth do you keep all the plant? you should just buy them in like me.

Thanks Mike - I'm really looking for just the seat bases since I'm having the seats recovered and the backs are OK, it's just the base cushions that are shot. So someone else may be able to make better use of your complete seats (particularly if they like the Velour touch!).

Hi Steve,
I made the moulds and have the foams made for me, my trimmer would not re trim seats without them and any that were in any shape or form similar to use, needed modifying to suit or were not of the right softness/hardness...I wanted them Exactly right so did them myself!

SO much MORE than just WOW ...These have been on the shelf for years. I do lots of different foams for classic cars and bike seats, and I am happy to make moulds for any seat foam.

BUT, I am afraid there is no such thing as trade prices on these...LOL
Adrian@
Adrian, thanks for your kind offer of no trade prices, you must be the only trader who doesn,t offer such to others and vice versa. Still, not a problem, I will continue to get mine from the same place TVR did.

What is amazing me still is that you stiil go to the trouble to get exactly the correct foam for not only "M" series cars but other classics and motorcycles. There are lots of firms in and around Coventry who have been making these for years for the likes of MG, Triumph cars and motorcycles, not to mention the 100,000's of BL cars that were all fitted with seats of exactly the right firmness of foam. Above and beyond the call of duty and to be commended.
