They're terrible!
Is it just mine or are they all the same? I'm used to heated 6-jet power washers on my Alfa 166 but even so
I haven't experienced such bad washers since my 803cc Morris Minor.
Anyone know of any way to improve or mod them?

Use RainX and don't bother with the wipers at all. And I wouldn't be at all surprised if the Moggie didn't use the same antiquated Lucas wiper gear.

I am sure, that in due course, the inadequacy of the washers will pale to total insignificance.

Mine seem to work OK (I live in Scotland, so they get used a fair bit) I also use Rain-X, which helps as well...
Are yours blocked up, or leaking somewhere else perhaps?
What year car do you have?
cheers,

If you live in a hard water area they might be gunged up. Take the washy bit off the wiper, clear the holes out with a saftey pin or similar and give it a blast under the tap - worked for me. Mine not only wash my screen now, but also anyone who pulls up next to me
