I'm reliably informed that the Touchdown Cafe, just outside Stratford upon Avon serve an excellent Full English.

Anyone care to join me on Sunday 23rd to find out for sure? say, 9 - 9.30ish ?( allowing for weather, SORN etc. arriving in a TVR is optional).

If it is very good I'll take the credit, if it's not you can blame TurboTony

Hi Mike, unfortunately I don't do SORN, but I may have to wait until I'm sober before I'm fully committed.
As long as it's nice enough to get my top off, I could possibly almost probably definitely be there perhaps.
Do we need to bring biscuits again?
Yours anticipatedionatially innit,
Glen. smile

This looks nice even to a vegetarian, but, I thought the Earth is going to roll off the edge of the Mayan callender on the 21st! Appointments may be difficult to keep after then if we are in freefall............
Even if we do survive, family commitments mean no time. Shelsley in the spring sounds good!

OK, how about the Restaurant at the end of the Universe then?
But I may have to hitch-hike there.
Don't forget to bring your towels! smile

Or How about going to Shelsley last Spring?

Meriden = centre of Britain

Wellesbourne = 20 miles away

Can't be much fairer than that! smile

I wasn't complaining about the distance, just wanted a good seat for the end of the world!
Mind you, it's not gone unnoticed that Wellesbourne does have a certain proximity to Redditch. Coincidence? I don't think so . wink

Funnily enough I'm going to breakfast with Niiige there the day before. I won't complain about two breakfasts in two days though so will aim to be there. The food is great, car park isn't the largest but usually room for everyone. Interesting to see some of the light planes taking off as well.

Sorry, but a 300 mile round trip for a good breakfast is a bit too far, but does look good.

May be some other time

Andy, what do you mean too far?
I've had to do a 436 mile round trip because we were almost running a bit low on white pepper. smiledrivingsmile

White pepper!

I thought real men who drive an early S, would at least have black pepper, not Girly white.

Have a good Christmas and a happy new year.

Andy, the white pepper wasn't for me, I just happened to notice that there were only two tubs left in the cupboard, so quite selflessly decided to take the S to go and find some. I knew my sister got some from the Co-op in Halstead, Essex at a reasonable price, so obviously that's where I went.
Personally, I prefer jalapeno peppers. Or those nice warm little birdseyes with my chilli sprouts & baconyumsmile

If we don't see you, have a great festive season. The same goes for all you nice people out there.
xmasCheers
Glen

Sorry Glenn for casting doubts / aspersions about your pepper use, I should have known no S owner would have been into the white stuff.

Been out today with my brother in his S, looks very good on the road, and is a whole lot louder than my Chim.

Have a good one
