Bit of a long shot, but is anyone here involved in Subsea systems? I'm looking at a Lean Six Sigma job with Vetco Gray and would really like to hear more about the company than I can find on the GE website.

EVERYTHING! wink I'm planning on doing a fair bit of googling, and I might be able to find some people who work at VetcoGray already who can fill me in on the operations there.

I guess at the moment what I'm really looking for is an idiot's guide, what the Americans would call Subsea101. I plan on using that as the basis for my googling. Is it really as simple as "stuff you use when extracting oil and gas underwater"?

I worked with them a reasonable amount in my last position (im more on the topside equipment & subsea power generation), guessing you'll be based in nailsea or bridging of don?
Either way good luck, they could do with someone in your field
